The Reds are hopeful that they'll sign pitcher Bronson Arroyo to a contract extension this offseason. Cincinnati recently picked up Arroyo's $13 million option for the 2011 season. "We haven't talked since we picked up his option," general manager Walt Jocketty said. "We'll continue to talk. Nothing's set yet. But I'm optimistic." Arroyo was 17-10 with a 3.88 ERA and 121 strikeouts in 215 2/3 innings in 2010.
