The Brewers may be unlikely to trade first baseman Prince Fielder this summer, writes ESPN's Buster Olney.
Olney cites two reasons.
The Astros have been unable to find a suitable deal for ace Roy Oswalt and Fielder is represented by Scott Boras, which means he's unlikely to agree to a contract extension before he hits the market in 2011.
Boras is said to believe that Fielder is worth more than Ryan Howard, who signed a five-year, $125 million extension with Philadelphia earlier this year.
