Angels first baseman Kendry Morales was carted off the field after breaking his leg during the celebration following his walk-off grand slam on Saturday night. The Angels defeated the Mariners 5-1 after Morales clubbed a game-winning home run in the bottom of the tenth inning. Morales landed awkwardly when he jumped on home plate and twisted his left ankle. "It'll change the way we celebrate," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said before the extent of Morales' injury was known. "It sure was exciting, but you always wonder if it's an accident waiting to happen. This is definitely unfortunate. We've just got to wait and see what we're dealing with. We'll know more information as the night moves on." Morales lay on the ground for at least 10 minutes and waved his arms to the cheering fans as he was driven away.
