Tom Glavine doesn't plan to pitch this season, but he isn't calling it quits just yet. "I'm not going to pitch or do anything in baseball until at least next year," Glavine told Atlanta's WAGA in a text message. The Braves released Glavine on June 3, and the pitcher indicated that he would explore other opportunities. "I enjoy going to my kids' hockey games and ballgames and all that other stuff," Glavine said. "On the one hand, I'm kind of looking forward to having a summer for the first time in 25 years. It's just not the way I envisioned doing it."
