The Nationals defeated the Yankees 3-0 on Thursday night as the new Yankee Stadium saw it's first game without a home run. The first 34 games played in the new stadium all had at least one home run. Since the Yankees opened the new ballpark in April, 119 long balls have been hit in the Bronx. The stadium had been one of two Major League venues that had allowed at least one home run in each of its games this season. Tampa Bay's Tropicana Field remains the other.
