The Mariners have placed closer Brandon Morrow on the disabled list with tendinitis in his right biceps. "I think I'm fine," Morrow said Saturday. "I think I'm ready to pitch. But they argued otherwise, and eventually won that argument." Morrow was placed on the disabled list retroactive to April 24, which means he can return on Saturday. "That was the best move for Brandon, and also for the club," manager Don Wakamatsu said. "We think it's better to be proactive."
