Yankees right fielder Xavier Nady got some good news on his right elbow on Tuesday; he won't need season-ending surgery.
The injury has been diagnosed as a ligament strain, according to a report on SI.com.
Both Nady and the team had initially feared that he would need Tommy John surgery.
