Cubs manager Lou Pinella has warned Kosuke Fukudome that he might see a decline in playing time if he doesn't start hitting soon, according to The Chicago Tribune. "I just look at trying to put out lineups that produce runs, and we've got a couple guys that are swinging the bats, including Reed Johnson, that are not playing," Piniella said. "Sooner or later, I've got to give them opportunities." Fukudome is hitting just .107 through his first 28 at-bats in August, after hitting over .300 earlier this season.
