The Houston Astros may look to upgrade their bullpen over the short and long-term.

Injuries to relievers Jesse Crain and Matt Albers have only added to recent struggles.

The Astros entered play on Monday with their relievers posting a 5.22 ERA -- the highest in baseball.

"The bullpen's been hurting us a little bit," said owner Jim Crane. "We had some guys beat up down there. Crain hasn't come back yet, and we still have Albers out. [Anthony] Bass came back and got beat up. That's something we have to take a look at it and see if we can fix it before the end of the season because it's definitely costing us some games."
