The Rangers didn't table their discussions with the Astros regarding Roy Oswalt when they landed Cliff Lee from the Mariners earlier this month, according to sources.

The talks went nowhere, with one source saying, "there is not a match at all."

Further complicating things is the belief that Texas traded players to Seattle for Lee that Houston was interested in.
