Miguel Tejada takes it all in stride, including reports the White Sox claimed him on waivers and were interested in trading for him before the Orioles pulled him back. "I don't really pay attention to that," Tejada said. "What can I say? That's the front office. I don't know how they do it. I just work here, and whatever happens, happens." The Orioles may trade him this winter but won't just dump his contract. They will want good players?most likely a young pitcher or two?in return. The White Sox wouldn't give up John Danks or Gio Gonzalez to get him but might part with Jon Garland and a pitcher or two from a group that includes Faustino de los Santos, Lance Broadway, Heath Phillips and Charlie Haeger.
