Scranton pitching coach Dave Eiland was on WFAN's Mike and the MadDog radio program to talk about Phil Hughes start on Thursday night. Hughes main concern on Thursday, according to Eiland, will be the first inning. His best pitch is reportedly his fastball because of his command, with 'late explosion' on it. "What sets him apart from everybody else is his make-up," said Eiland. Hughes' fastball typically comes in at 91 or 92 MPH and occasionally hits 95 MPH. "I wouldn't bet against him staying up there all year," said Eiland when asked if he thought he might get sent back down to Scranton.
