Team USA beat Cuba 14-2 on Sunday night to advance to the final of the World Baseball Classic.

The U.S. will face the winner of Japan and Mexico, which plays on Monday night.

Trea Turner hammered a second-inning solo home run that staked the U.S. to a 3-1 lead against Cuba. Turner's three-run blast in the sixth turned a game teetering on the precipice of a blowout into an undoubted one, putting Team USA ahead 12-2.

"That was one of my favorite home runs I've ever hit in my entire life," said Paul Goldschmidt, who hit a two-run home run in the first inning.
