The Miami Marlins have hired Brant Brown as their new hitting coach.

Brown was one of two hitting coaches for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

He'll serve under new manager Skip Schumaker. Brown replaces Marcus Thames, who was hired by the Los Angeles Angels.
