The Los Angeles Angels have optioned Reid Detmers just six starts after the rookie left-hander threw a no-hitter.

Detmers was assigned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Wednesday. He tossed a no-hitter on May 10 against the Tampa Bay Rays.

However, he is 0-2 with a 5.67 ERA in his six starts since that historic night.
