The New York Yankees and Aaron Judge continue to discuss a huge contract extension as Friday's deadline for an agreement nears.

The Yankees have reportedly offered Judge a franchise-record for positional players in terms of annual salary -- besting the $27.5 million per year Alex Rodriguez earned under his 10-year, $275 million deal.

The sides do not have a deal as of early Friday morning but are still in communication and there remains hope a deal can be struck.
