The Oakland Athletics have agreed to terms on a one-year, $11 million deal with Trevor Rosenthal, according to a report.

Rosenthal, 30, re-established himself as an effective closer with 11 saves in 12 chances for the Kansas City Royals and San Diego Padres last season.

He had a 1.90 ERA and 0.85 WHIP with 38 strikeouts against eight walks in 23 2/3 innings.
