The Atlanta Braves scored 29 runs against the Miami Marlins on Wednesday night, falling just short of tying the Major League record for most runs in a game.

Atlanta beat Miami 29-9, tying the mark for the second-most runs scored in a game in the modern era (since 1900).

The Texas Rangers scored 30 against the Baltimore Orioles in 2007.

"Pretty amazing," Freddie Freeman said. "Hard to put into words, really, when you look up and see 29 runs on the board."
