The Minnesota Twins tried to sign Yasmani Grandal last season, but they are unlikely to pursue the catcher again this offseason.

Grandal is a free agent for the second time in as many seasons. He hit .246/.380/.468 with a career-high 28 home runs and 77 RBIs for the Milwaukee Brewers in 2019.

Minnesota's situation at catcher has changed with Mitch Garver expected to receive more playing time.
