The San Diego Padres and Colorado Rockies combined to set a modern-era record by scoring 92 runs in a four-game series.

"A four-game series here, it feels like a month," Eric Hosmer said. "This was a grind."

The Rockies outscored the Padres 48-44 and the two clubs combined for 131 hits at Coors Field.

All told, the four games took more than 16 hours to complete.
