Felix Hernandez recorded the 2,500th strikeout of his Major League career in Saturday's game between the Seattle Mariners and Boston Red Sox.

Hernandez is just the 36th pitcher to reach the milestone.

The right-hander fanned Michael Chavis looking with a 92 mph fastball for the historic strikeout.

At 33 years, 33 days of age, King Felix is the sixth youngest to get to 2,500 strikeouts.
