The New York Yankees have signed Danny Farquhar to a Minor League contract.

Farquhar has been cleared for baseball activities. The right-hander has made a recovery from a brain hemorrhage.

On April 20, he was pitching for the Chicago White Sox against the Houston Astros at U.S. Cellular Field when he collapsed in the home dugout. White Sox medical personnel and emergency responders treated the hurler, who had sustained a brain hemorrhage caused by a ruptured aneurysm.
