The Tampa Bay Rays are nearing a contract agreement with Avisail Garcia.

The deal would be for $3.5 million guaranteed, plus bonuses that could increase the value to $6 million.

After an All-Star season in 2017, Garcia was limited by a hamstring injury last year and hit just .236/.281/.438.
