The New York Mets have agreed to a Minor League contract with Hector Santiago.

The left-hander will make $2 million if added to the 40-man Major League roster as part of the agreement.

Santiago, 31, would be able to earn $400,000 in performance bonuses: $100,000 each for five, 10, 20 and 25 starts.
