The New York Yankees and San Diego Padres continue to discuss a possible trade centered around Sonny Gray.

The Padres have several holes in their rotation and have also been linked to bigger targets such as Noah Syndergaard.

Gray is up for arbitration this offseason and is scheduled to hit free agency in 2020.
