Shohei Ohtani hit 101 mph on the radar gun twice on Tuesday night, the fastest pitch thrown by a starter in the major leagues this season.

Both of the pitches were thrown to Josh Reddick of the Houston Astros.

Earlier in the game, Ohtani hit 100.6 mph on the radar gun.

Ohtani had a disappointing start overall, allowing four earned runs over 5.1 innings. He struck out seven, but walked five.
