The Chicago Cubs have agreed to sign Yu Darvish to a six-year, $126 million contract.

The deal includes an opt-out clause and no-trade protection along with escalators that could push the deal to $150 million.

This is the fourth free agent contract in excess of $100 million to be given by the Cubs, which ranks second all-time behind the Yankees (6).

In 31 combined starts last season, Darvish was 10-12 with a 3.86 ERA.
