The Texas Rangers are expected to hire Don Wakamatsu as their bench coach.

Wakamatsu, 54, was the bench coach in Texas once before. He held the same role with the Kansas City Royals most recently.

Jeff Banister's staff is being shuffled this offseason. Last year's bench coach, Steve Buechele, will be moved to the first base coaching job.
