The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired Anthony Swarzak from the Chicago White Sox for prospect Ryan Cordell.

Swarzak has a 2.23 ERA in 41 appearances. He has struck out 52 batters in 48 1/3 innings.

He is expected to become Milwaukee's setup man.
