The Texas Rangers are currently leaning towards keeping Yu Darvish as the non-waiver trade deadline approaches.

The club's stance could still change with an "overwhelming" offer or if they fall in the standings, according to a report.

Darvish, who turns 31 next month, has a 3.44 ERA, 3.84 FIP and 143 strikeouts in 133.1 innings this season.

The Rangers are 48-51 and on the fringe of the American League Wild Card race.
