The Tampa Bay Rays would like to add a hitter after dealing Logan Forsythe to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Forsythe was sent to the Dodgers for Jose De Leon.

Tampa Bay is believed to be looking at first base and designated hitter candidates and a right-handed bat is preferred.

The list of possibilities includes Mike Napoli, Chris Carter, Mark Reynolds, Billy Butler and Aaron Hill.
