For the second time in a week, Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw had a throwing session on flat ground, and the intensity of his rehab schedule appears to be increasing.

Kershaw, who is out with a lower back injury, threw from about 90 feet Friday, after throwing from about 65 feet Sunday. The Dodgers are now expected to turn around Kershaw quickly and have him throw from flat ground again Saturday.

"We'll see what happens," said manager Dave Roberts, who offered few details about his pitcher's recovery timetable.
