The Dodgers lost a game on Friday night that was destined to be remembered for a long time.

Dodgers starter Ross Stripling, in his major league debut, was removed from Friday’s game against the Giants in the eighth inning of a potential no-hitter. He had just reached the 100-pitch mark by walking Angel Pagan with the Dodgers leading 2-0.

The next batter, Trevor Brown, tied it for the Giants with a home run off reliever Chris Hatcher, and the Giants won it 3-2 in the 10th on a home run from Brandon Crawford.
