Major League Baseball has suspended Ian Kennedy and seven others for their roles in this week's brawl between the Dodgers and Diamondbacks.

Kennedy was penalized the most, receiving a 10-game suspension. Eric Hinske was suspended five games, while managers Kirk Gibson and Don Mattingly were each banned for one game.

Kennedy was suspended for intentionally throwing a pitch at the head of Zack Greinke after a warning had been issued on Tuesday night and Hinske for leaving the dugout and "aggressive actions."

The Dodgers saw J.P. Howell and Skip Schumaker suspended two games apiece for "aggressive actions" and hitting coach Mark McGwire two games for his conduct.

Ronald Belisario was suspended one game for "aggressive actions."
