The Dodgers have placed outfielder Manny Ramirez on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left calf. The injury caused him to miss two starts last weekend and flared up on Thursday night at Cincinnati. Los Angeles recalled outfielder Xavier Paul from Triple-A Albuquerque.
