Mets general manager Omar Minaya told reporters on Sunday that the team is keeping tabs on both Matt Holliday and Jason Bay. "We are pursuing Matt Holliday," Minaya said when asked about the free-agent outfielders. "It seems to be easier to make a deal for Jason Bay." The Mets have long been considered the frontrunners to land Bay, with an offer on the table to the left fielder.
