The Orioles have reached a preliminary agreement on a two-year, $12 million contract with pitcher Mike Gonzalez. A baseball source told ESPN.com of the deal. Gonzalez would get $6 million each of the next two seasons and could earn an additional $2 million in performance bonuses, according to the Associated Press. He went 5-4 with a 2.42 ERA in 80 appearances for Atlanta in 2009.
