Dodgers owner Frank McCourt would like Manny Ramirez to address the team in the wake of his 50-game steroid suspension. The Los Angeles Times reported on Sunday that Ramirez spoke with McCourt and general manager Ned Colletti on Saturday for the first time since receiving the suspension. The newspaper reported that such an address was "unlikely" to happen Sunday before the final game of the team's 11-game homestand. "I don't think addressing the team is necessary," manager Joe Torre said. "I think it is important that the players get a chance to say something. I don't think we need anything formal."
