Cincinnati slugger Adam Dunn refuted a report on Tuesday night that he called Blue Jays general manager J.P. Ricciardi to bury the hatchet, according to The Associated Press. Ricciardi criticized Dunn last week, attacking his passion. "We've done our homework on guys like Adam Dunn and there's a reason why we don't want Adam Dunn," Ricciardi said on the radio last week. "I don't want to get into specifics." Dunn soon shot back, labeling Ricciardi as a "clown sitting in the front office pushing paper." Ricciardi later apologized and tried to contact Dunn through Reds executives. "If he said he talked to me, it's a lie," Dunn said.
