By Christopher Reina At RealGM, we use the Field Impact Counter (FIC) to objectively measure how effective players are performing. Click here for more information about the Field Impact Counter and the Reina Value. The Reina Value's for each of these players will appear in this space beginning next week. (Player, Season FIC total) 1. Ben Sheets, 29 Sheets has struck out 15 batters over 15.1 innings while yielding just seven hits and two walks. The Giants, whom he shutout on Sunday, might have a league worst .571 OPS, but he would have been dominant against just about any team. This was Sheets' first shutout since May of 2001 and his off-speed stuff looked especially good. 2. A.J. Pierzynski, 26 Pierzynski was the American League's official player of the week and it's impossibly to argue with the selection.
