Reuter Yields Just One Run In Giants' 4-2 Win

The Giants beat the Houston Astros for the second straight night on Friday, as Kirk Reuter gave Felipe Alou's side seven innings, yielding just one run in their 4-2 victory.
San Francisco got off to a quick start, scoring two runs when Edgardo Alfonzo hit a grounder to short, scoring Lance Niekro, then Moises Alou scored on an error by the Astros' Jose Vizcaino.
Jason Ellison gave the Giants a cushion when he hit a solo homer in the eighth.
With the loss, the Astros' record dropped to 12-23.
