Albert Pujols hit the 660th home run of his career in Sunday's Los Angeles Angels-Colorado Rockies game.

Pujols is now tied with Willie Mays for fifth place on the all-time Major League list.

"I was just telling them, 'Finally, I hit one in the air,'" said Pujols, who hadn't homered since Aug. 4, of his teammates.

Pujols, 40, now trails only Barry Bonds (762), Hank Aaron (755), Babe Ruth (714) and Alex Rodriguez (696) on the career home run list.
