In Wednesday's edition of the New York Times, Murry Chass suggests that Barry Bonds could sign with the Red Sox if the J.D. Drew deal does not meet a resolution and Bonds is unable to reach an agreement with the Giants. If Bonds was signed by the Red Sox, Chass suggests Ramirez could be moved back to right field, his original position. Ramirez hasn't played right field since 2002 and hasn't played it regularly since 2000. When an official on the management side with knowledge of the Bonds' talks was asked Tuesday if the deal could blow up, he said, ?It?s possible.?
