The Detroit Tigers have announced that Jose Iglesias will not return this season.
Iglesias is recovering from stress fractures in both of his shins.
"We do not plan on having Iglesias back with us this year," Dave Dombrowski said, adding that Iglesias "is progressing as projected, but we do not think he will be ready at any point this season."
