Clay Buchholz struggled for the fourth-straight start on Monday afternoon, leading the Boston Red Sox to consider skipping his next turn in the rotation.

Buchholz failed to record an out in the fourth inning, but the Red Sox were able to rebound and beat the Atlanta Braves to end a 10-game losing streak.

John Farrell said Buchholz worked on mechanical adjustments between starts, but they failed to materialize. Buchholz has a 7.02 ERA this season.

"We've got to look at this a little bit closer," Farrell said. "There's no determination on five days from now. We've got to continue to talk about what he's currently going through and what's best for him, and certainly what's best for us."

Buchholz next turn in the rotation would be Saturday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
