The Detroit Tigers have recalled Robbie Ray, who will make his first Major League start on Tuesday against the Houston Astros.
Detroit acquired Ray, 22, has part of the trade that sent Doug Fister to the Washington Nationals this offseason.
Ray will start in place of the injured Anibal Sanchez.
