Left for dead for much of the season, the Brewers and Phillies are back in the postseason picture thanks to a surge in the standings.

Milwaukee has won seven of their last 10, while Philadelphia has won eight of their last 10 games.

The Brewers are 14.5 games back in the National League Central and the Phillies are 17 games back in the NL East, but they are much closer in the Wild Card race.

They are both 71-71 and sit four games back of the Cardinals for the second Wild Card berth.
