Jacoby Ellsbury left Friday's game against the Rays holding his right arm after he was injured sliding into second base in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Red Sox announced it was a right shoulder injury and that Ellsbury will be evaluated further. Ellsbury was running on a pitch when Tampa Bay shortstop Reid Brignac fielded a ground ball hit by Dustin Pedroia. Brignac was upended by Ellsbury's slide and fell heavily on the center fielder's shoulder.
