Daisuke Matsuzaka threw a bullpen session on Monday, but the Red Sox still do not expect the right-hander to pitch in a Grapefruit League game this spring. "His arm feels good. He thinks his mechanics are way off," manager Bobby Valentine said. "He's healthy and he's on that recovery pace that all rehab guys are on. He's on a very good pace. I don't think he'll pitch in spring training." Matsuzaka was limited to eight games (seven starts) in 2011 and ultimately had Tommy John surgery.
