Carl Crawford hit his first home run as a member of the Red Sox on Sunday afternoon against the Angels.
Crawford's homer came in his 81st at-bat with Boston.
"It just felt good to hit the ball hard and have it leave the yard," he said. "I was just glad I got the first one out of the way and was able to do something good to help the team. I've been feeling a little bit better, but I'm not out of the woods yet. I'm still in a grind mode."
Crawford is hitting .171 with six RBI and a .218 OBP.
